Marathon is absolutely correct - 17 rounds is _entirely_
too long for a one day tournament. I know it was good
experience for our younger guys, but after nearly 12 hours
of QB, they were pretty dead."
How does 17
rounds -- timed, no less -- work out to "almost 12
hours"? Even if you allow a generous 30 minutes per round
-- and that's kind of a lot for a tournament with
two 9-minute halves -- that's only 8 1/2
hours.
