3. A third way to run up the score, as a winning
*or* losing team, is for State College A to play State
College B. This can be done either deliberately, or
naturally -- records will show that B teams tend to perform
better against their A teams than teams not of that
school who are comparable to 'B'.

Hmm. At first this seems like a good
thing, but if the formula rewards more total points yet
teams are unwilling or unable to incorporate it into
their strategy, maybe the formula needs to be
rethinked.

The NCAAs usually have a "floor" of minimum wins, and
perhaps we should follow that.
