Re: A Random Question

Well, I majored in materials science and engineering as
an undergrad, and we sure don't get a lot of
questions on that subject! Then again, since I was a
traditional-age undergrad but am an older (now 40+) graduate
student, my undergrad classes are probably too murky a
memory to help any more.

Now, biology -- wow!
That's a terrific one; the fact that I've done my M.S.
and am working on a Ph.D. in one of the most
generalist biology graduate programs you'll ever find has
been invaluable. ('Course, undergrad biology courses
might not have helped ME that much, at least not at
this late date. At the time, they'd just figured out
the fluid mosaic model of cell membranes.)
