JCV Top Numbers (was "new topic")

Those numbers are interesting, Edmund. Out of
curiosity, how many times was the first all-star David
Hamilton? (the last three, I would guess, with the first
being Brian Rostron?)

All I am saying is that
your numbers are a bit deceiving, because, even if you
are not talking about the same player in three out of
four cases, IIRC, Yaphe or Sheahan or Waters or Dendy
were not there. Those four were on a higher plane, so
to speak; Rostron and Hamilton were of the
first-tier Subash Caliber I was talking about in my original
meesage.

Waters, Yaphe, Sheahan, and Dendy could play in any era
-- and several others would just need some practice
to get back into excellent form. Plus while I agree
about looking at formats, I do not when you apply that
to TRASH -- the overall distribution is about 80-90%
different from the other formats.
