Personally, I think the idea of a quizbowl camp
sounds like fun. It would be a way of keeping players'
skills from becoming rusty in the summer, for starters.
Also, players could meet other QB players; I personally
can say that I met many of my very best friends (and
even my fiance!) through QB. Finally, what better time
than summer -- when there isn't any school stuff going
on concurrently -- to develop skills in QB? If
question-writing were included, it would be perfect. Maybe someday
they could have college QB players for residential
staff, as well as helping with the camp
aspect.
