I agree that the format for making the playoffs
was a little unfair given the difficulty of balancing
the brackets. The Death Blow bracket featured three
teams who scored enough points to be second in any
other bracket even though they all had to play each
other including Worst Episode ever which finished 3rd
overall and Christopher Walken's Dance Party. This ultra
competative bracket also had to play out of bracket
experiences against Battleplanet and Steve McQueensryche the
eventual 2nd and 4th place teams. Clearly given the
quality of this bracket and Iowa's stellar play they
deserved a chance at the title. I think that in the future
some sort of wildcard should be included to remedy
this sort of injustice. At the very least these guys
deserved a prize for winning their middle bracket as well
as being the only team to beat Christopher Walken's
Dance Party.
