Championship on Saturday, me living in NJ and all, and he said
the only guaranteed spot goes to the champ. The
runner-up is NOT guaranteed a trip to Ann Arbor.
>From last year's NAQT New Jersey HS Championship two
teams, Columbia & Governor Livingston, went to
Nationals--from a field of only ten. This year our field is
brimming with twenty teams, as of Monday. I wouldn't worry
about getting snubbed out of a bid as runner-up. Also,
the top teams from our fall tournament, DeGuzmania
2000, may be eligible, since that tournament was also
played on NAQT questions. But this is all surmise on my
part.
