I know that this was the case
when we hosted the state championship last year; at
least the top three teams got bids. This year's event
is official as well, so I'm not sure exactly what my
esteemed colleague was talking about, unless NAQT has
changed the rules. (In which case, someone might want to
change the Web page also.)
