Well, I would think for most one-day tournaments, the
ideal time-frame is from 9 in the morning, until just
before dinner, which works out to 6-7, usually. If you
plan on travelling far, you should expect to get home
late if you leave that very night.
Anthony, who
has made the 9-hour drive (not including dinner)
after Philadelphia area tournaments, and ended up back
in Cleveland past 5 am before.
