Well, I would've announced this earlier, but I
have had no ability to use my PC since I got it
shipped home, since my mom has taken over half my room as
a workspace. Thankfully, that should end soon. Fear
not, Edmund, it won't take me more than a week or two
to write this. I write VERY quickly.
I am
pleased to announce that, as my contribution to the
first-ever QuizBowl Pentathlon of Fun at George Washington
University, I present the Fred Ottman Individual Summer
Tournament (FOIST), which will be held on Saturday night (I
think) of the weekend of the championship.
Good
space is still available, and the questions will be
100% written by me. No one, not even Edmund, will have
seen them ahead of time (this way, if people on the GW
staff wish to play, they can).
Prices have been
determined by the GWU Trivia Club. Prizes will be figured
out by me and will be befitting a tournament named
the Fred Ottman Individual Summer
Tournament.
Q: Who's Fred Ottman?
A: If you don't know, it
wouldn't make sense.
