2001 PACE NSC field

A preliminary version of the program booklet for
the 2001 PACE National Scholastics Championship can

It is
intended that the 22 teams will be divided into three
divisions reflecting the geographic diversity and
difficulty of the field. The top 4 teams from the three
divisions will be reshuffled into 2 divisions of 6 teams
tabula rasa, and the top 2 from each of the quarterfinal
divisions advance to single elimination Final Four games.
The remaining 10 teams will participate as 2
divisions of 5 teams in consolation matches, with a
consolation championship match between the top team from each
bracket.
