I admit that I am one of the women involved in
this list, that I have not met all of the gentlemen on
it, and that I can think of others I would have added
to it (including some more of my teammates, Chicago
has some great people).
I'm more than
somewhat suprised to see that the comments posted focus
around the "attractiveness" of the men on the list. What
about being "well-dressed and pleasant-mannered but
good quiz bowlers, too?" The comment about Josh aside,
who else has a description even resembling a "meat
market"? Yes, good grooming is an asset to any person,
male or female. Beverly was right to say that women
should go for intelligence and personality. Men on this
list are praised more than anything else for their
knowledge of graph theory and Canadian politeness.
