Re: in light of recent comments (reposts

Okay, you men of the east coast (and anyone else
who's curious).
After some heated debate among my
committee members, we've arrived at the
list of the Top
10 Men of East Coast College Bowl. Just a side note:

while the majority of the deciding committee was made
up of females, there
was at least one male member
of the committee. :) Take it for what
it's
worth...
 That being said, here we
go:

----------------------------------------

10) Brian Rostron -- he may have showed his violent
side at CBI Nationals,
but his remorse and
ultra-blondness save the day. We can't wait to see
him take on
Jeff Johnson one-on-one... in naked jello
wrestling.

9) Chris Morse -- a fabulous baker and friend, you
never have to worry
about being a cryer when you go
to a movie with him.

8) Matt Caywood -- he's
six feet tall, blond, writes code in his
sleep,
and has that arrogant Harvard attitude that just
makes you want him all
the more.

7) John
Edwards -- You can't miss the cute red hair and the way
he took
on the field at NAQT Nationals. A
sentimental favorite.

(side note: a lot of comments
about hair so far-- our committee must have
a hair
fetish... these comments are not all mine, please remember
:) )

6) Doug O'Neal -- besides the fact that
he now has a Ph.D. under his
belt, he's smart,
enjoys gazing at stars, and looks cuddly. With
his
impending move to Boulder, we can only wish we could be the
one to
initiate him into the "Mile-High
Club."

5) Matt Colvin -- an attitude can be sexy. Plus he
knows all about the
classics... and one of this
committee had a crush on him back in
high
school.

4) Eric Tentarelli -- one of the best PPGs in the
circuit, and also nice
and down-to-earth. Someone
noticed at BU Terrier Tussle how cute he looks
in a
blue t-shirt.

3) Tom Waters -- there's just
something about an older man's dedication
to perfection
that we can't resist...

2) Mark Staloff -- the
scowl becomes him, but his smile is even cuter.
His
rants on British history make us wonder just *what* he
could do with
Margaret Thatcher.

and...

1) Pat Matthews -- We think the author of the
a.c.c-b FAQ knows more than
he's letting on. There's
more than one Philly Experiment we'd like to try
on
him. :)

Congratulations to all our 1997 picks.
