readers to know that Mark Zimmer, coach of the Wisconsin
team for the past 20-some years and director of the
annual "Elvis" tournament, got a mention in yesterday's
New York Times for his role in the reconstruction
from sketched ideas of a Beethoven overture for an
opera based on "Macbeth" -- the overture is to be
performed by the National Symphony Orchestra at the Kennedy
