On the question of non-football
homecomings:
At my high school, we did indeed have football, but
no homecoming. Go figure.
BU, which no longer
has football, has varied in its approach. Soccer,
field hockey, and ice hockey have all taken place on
homecoming weekend (a couple years had football and hockey,
which was interesting).
Perhaps BUCB can talk
Westling into a best of 3 match with someone. 10,000 out
to see BU whip up on URI, yeah! OK, maybe
not.
And in what may be actual college bowl news, I am no
longer the advisor to BUCB. Working at Babson College, a
business school in the 'burbs. I think we'll be at CBI
regionals, and hopefully at Crimson Puppy Chow. Sarah
Harriman, former BUCB exchequer and current BU employee,
will likely take my place.
