My high school didn't have any
sports team, so instead of picking from the programming
team jocks, we just elected the most popular people
for an "admiration court" for our "wenter
semi-formal."
So yes, we did have a homecoming, but we had so many
damn special phrases that it was painful to talk about
or plan (beyond the regular social akwardness) . . .
