Re: Falwell, et al. Part II

<If one more person tries to use the death of

promoting their own atheist superiority agenda to the point

*that* person instead of in my own home. Ahem. Matt, we
know you're not religious. You can stop shoving it
down our throats any time now, ok? Some of us are
religious, and we're sick of you acting like you're
intellectually superior because of that. Give it a
rest.>>

I don't recall mentioning anyone's atheism, my
opinions on the veracity of any religious beliefs, or
instructions for anyone to open his or her throat for shoving.
Could it be that the people who resort to putting words
in my mouth can't find anything wrong with my
point--that standing on the walls and proclaiming that these
people died because they were of the wrong religion is
an abominable, medieval thing to do? Could your
disgust with my condemnation of such things indicate
sympathy with Falwell and Robertson? You said that they
don't represent your brand of Christianity, yet you're
taking up arms to defend their statements when I condemn
them. Perhaps I shouldn't have taken such pains to
separate your version of religion from
theirs.
