Hey everyone,
Those of you who attended
RBO II this past weekend may or may not know that ULL
experienced a sound beating at the hands of many teams at
that tournament. It was our first intercollegiate quiz
bowl tournament and we knew that the teams there would
be good competition. I'm not at all dissapointed
with our performance or the way the tournament was
run. We had fun and it was a good learning experience.
Because we are new, however, I think that we could use a
few pointers about how to make a program better. Do
most teams do any kind of preparation for quiz bowl
tournaments? What are good steps to take in order to improve a
team's performance in matches? Any advice you guys could
offer would help us greatly. Thanks.
