Actually I've been in college since I was 16. I
turn 20 on December 24th.
Yeah, according to my
professor who recently got his PhD everyone does have to
read the Annales historians. Indeed Braudel was just
horrific reading. I can't agree that historical trends are
the result of climate change. I guess it would then
stand to reason that the continuum of charismatic
figures throughout history are inconsequential. I can't
accept that (allow that I may have oversimplified). Oh
well, maybe I'll enjoy Bloch's Feudal
Society.
