The Spanish (Hispanic) composers...none of them
are particularly obscure at all. Granados and de
Falla especially are pretty familiar to pianists, and
Albinez is a legitimate question. All of them came up
elsewhere at some point in my playing career. I don't think
those are overly obscure at
all.

With respect to Victoria, I would disagree in that
these questions are geared to high school students and
novice college students, not for upper level QB players.
I can't name one work of Granados, even after 5
semesters of music history. Albeniz and de Falla I admit
are knowable, but then again, high school students
cannot be expected to know even one of these. Most of
these students can't even name a single work of Brahms
or any of the Russian Five. There should be
challenging questions in high school play, but this
particular one is of an inappropriate difficulty.
