Has anyone tried to make a collegiate version of
Academic Decathlon?
If a such a thing exists or
existed, would it get more support from college
administrators than quizbowl tends to get? Would a collegiate
version be viewed, then, as a competitor to quizbowl and
a threat to the circuit as a potential drain on
finite resources? What degree of crossover would there
be a collegiate AD and quizbowl? Does the degree of
academic specialization in college hinder the development
of such a concept?
