College-level AD just wouldn't work. It requires
too much time and effort. Your average
Acadec-participating college student is too busy to read and memorize
the thousands of pages that would be required of
college AD. Considering how detailed high school-level
had to be, college-level would be pretty much insane.
The reason QB works is that it allows you to assemble
a team of geeks who already know a bunch of facts
and show them off with a relative minimum of outside
time involved.
What's more, even if there was a
college Acadec, the cost involved to buy all the
materials would be prohibitive to starting a new team.
