Re: Who Are/Were the Best Players?

It's hard to determine any true order in this.
The game has come so far in the last 10 years that
the level of talent that qualifies as 'very good'
today, if such a player could go back in time, would
dominate some tournaments in 1991. Even more so before
that I think. The order is certainly rough, but here
it goes....might list more than 10..

1.
Andrew Yaphe
2. Tom Waters
3. Jeff Johnson
4.
John Sheahan
5. Jim Dendy
6. Josh Boorstin
7.
Subash
8. Don Whindam
9. David Hamilton
10. Patrick
Brannon
11. Victor Rosenberg
12. R. Hentzel
13. Rick
Grimes
14. Ted Schuerzinger
15. Rob Margolis
lots of
others prob. deserve mention...Dave Frazee, Art Fleming
(despite his earlier modesty), Peter Freeman, Mark
Staloff, Gerard Magliocca, a gaggle of old
maryland/michigan/princeton/harvard/etc/etc people who all are hard to differentiate from one
another talent-wise and are all good...anyway, I'll let
someone else remember more people...
