Re: Too Much Information(?)

As
has been mentioned before, ACF is not a monolithic
"they," and I suspect that this answer generally _would_
be accepted at most ACF events, unless there was
some specific reason not to do so.

Also, I
agree with Roger Bhan's comments on the Div II thing.
Most of my younger FAU teammates have played one or
two years of D2, but they simply would not be
competitive in D1, nor are they likely to be after 3 or 4
years of playing -- as someone mentioned, they don't
have the degree of motivation to improve at the game
(and there's nothing wrong with that -- they're busy
folks). It's up to the strong Div II player to decide
whether it's time for him/her to jump up to Div I this
year, as Chip Thomas did in the Florida SCT with
FCCJ.

I also second Roger's compliments of the question
sets. This was only my third NAQT tournament, but I
thought it was the best of the three sets I've played on
(or perhaps I'm simply less ignorant of current
events this year). A couple weak lead-ins here and
there, but for the most part it seemed very good to
me.
