That is a false rumor!
We asked all 1st
place teams to accept or decline their bid to attend
the NCT. At the same time, we also asked all 2nd
place teams to advise us whether they would accept the
bid IF they were drawn as the wild card. Florida
State declined to be considered for the wild card slot
due to a conflict with graduation.
FYI, the
wild card will be announced on Thursday.
