Heh...I WAS the person on my team who did that. I
was 99.9% sure I had the right answer by saying
"nerve." I was already thinking about bonus points when I
was prompted for more info, and I just couldn't think
of what else to say. Granted, that was my own damn
fault, and I should have picked it up easily...but brain
farts happen.
And in response to the previous
post, a player on my team was given credit for
"leeward," which, all biased opinions aside, I think was the
proper ruling.
Another question that I know
caused problems in at least 2 (maybe more) matches in
region 7 was the Palladium question. My team had a bye
that round, but I think the answer given by both teams
in question was "Pallas Athena." The one official
protest over this was over-ruled by CBCI. So what's the
story on this one?
