Chicago Science Masters 7/27

Sorry for the late posting, but a small mirror of the Science Masters
was held Saturday night at U. Chicago following that day's Chicago
Open. Seven people, composing four teams, competed in a double round
robin. Andrew and Mike (Hairboy) from Illinois won outright with a
5-1 record, the one loss coming to Raj Dhuwalia, playing solo, who
took second overall with a 4-2 record. I apologize for my shoddy
record keeping, but the other two teams were Wesley Matthews playing
with Selene (whose last name I didn't get--sorry!) from U.Chicago and
Roger Bhan who teamed with Mike Angel for three rounds until Mike had
to go, after which he played solo, and dealt a loss to Dhuwalia.
Presumably one of those teams finished third and the other fourth.

Thanks go to the Berkely folks and others who wrote the packs, and to
Taz Zifos of Valencia and Sean with the cool, shiny, zebra-patterned
shirt whose last name I didn't get, nor his school affiliation, for
their help in reading. And before the individual stats, let me
justify this sloppiness by mentioning I was drafted as T.D. an hour
before the tournament.

Individual stats:

Raj 48-4 76.7 ppg
Andrew 38-7 57.5
Roger 39-14 53.3
Selene 28-3 44.2
Hairboy 20-1 32.3
Wesley 15-3 22.5
Mike A. 3-2 6.6 (three rounds)
