Moc Masters

I expected a post to be up by now about this, but I guess I'm gonna
kick it off. First of all, I'd like to congratulate Kelly McKenzie
(pardon the spelling) for winning the Moc Masters solo, quite
impressive. I would also like to congratulate everybody who made
tournament all-star, and everybody else who placed, competed, and ran
the tournament. It was very smoothly run and everything was on schedule.

Now for some general reflections. Being my first trip to any non-high
school tournament it was definitely an experience. The questions were
hard, yet accessible, everybody was pretty friendly, and the overall
environment was a good one. I look forward to playing this format for
years to come.

I must apologize, as I am the one who wrote the packet for the last
prelim round. Having no frame of reference on what level to write on,
the packet was by far the easiest of the entire day, which I guess was
a good contrast to the round before, which Kelly wrote, and was
probably the hardest. I'll keep in mind the proper level next time I
go to this.

Finally, I'd like to thank the tournament staff and TD for making the
whole tournament run smoothly and efficiently. While all the rooms
were hot as balls, everything else with the facilities, equipment and
questions was perfect.
