Reach for the Top Ontario Provincial Finals

Reach for the Top Ontario Provincial Finals is a high school tournament played annually in April in Scarborough, Ontario, to determine the Ontario champion of Reach for the Top. The tournament lasts for three days, with the last two days taking place at the TV Ontario (TVO) studios where the matches are filmed. The champion and runner-up of this tournament advance to the national finals in Edmonton, Alberta.

Qualification

In 2008, the tournament expanded to 42 teams from the 40 in the previous year. Teams qualify from one of the 29 leagues in the province (though the Sarnia-Kent league can not qualify teams due to school board rules preventing overnight stays). Leagues qualify a range of teams, from 1 to 3 depending on the league's size or activity. The tournament make-up is divided as follows:
