Geoword is an asynchronous online quizbowl event hosted under the aegis of QBReader. It is divided into three divisions: High School (approximately Regs+ difficulty), Division II, and Division I (the latter two roughly matching those divisions' difficulty at NAQT ICT), and is played in the form of a 22-tossup rounds called an "opus" each week. It is a spiritual successor to Beterword, which was exclusively at ACF Fall difficulty.
It is named after QBReader creator and administrator Geoffrey Wu, not for geography (as a Geoword opus contains a roughly standard academic quizbowl distribution).
