The Southwest Suburban Conference or SWSC is a league of high school programs across the south Chicago suburbs. All of these schools are eligible to compete in the "large school" Class AA of the Illinois High School Association (IHSA). The conference has consistently found success, with conference members having won the Class AA Sectional #8 of the IHSA State Series since at least 2015.
Until 2006, the conference was named the "South Inter-Conference Assocation" or "SICA". The SICA scholastic bowl league was founded by IHSSBCA Hall of Fame coach, Gene Kruse, of Bradley-Bourbonnais. The SICA was one of Illinois Scholastic Bowl's oldest competitive leagues.
The league has been using NAQT questions since at least 2010.
