The Half Hollow Hills West Invitational was an annual tournament held at Half Hollow Hills West from 1995 until 2012. Originally held on house-written four quarter questions, the tournament used NAQT A-set questions after 2010. The tournament regularly attracted dozens of teams from the Tri-State area and was often the largest one day invitational in the region.

Many years later, the tournament was revived as the third leg of the Island Cup.
