The Big Northern Conference is a conference in the Northern Illinois area consisting of twelve small-to-medium sized high schools. The current conference roster is:
- Burlington Central
- Byron
- Genoa Kingston
- Hampshire
- Harvard High School
- Marengo
- North Boone
- Oregon
- Richmond Burton
- Rockford Lutheran
- Stillman Valley
- Winnebago
Former members of the conference include Johnsburg.
The conference used Brody Finney's Platypus Questions for almost certainly its entire history until 2009-2010, when it switched to an NAQT IS set, becoming one of two known Illinois conferences to use the ACF bonus format.
