In the double-elimination format currently used by NAQT for the HSNCT, MSNCT, and SSNCT, the last teams standing after the winners' bracket final are designated in tournament promotional material as the "Super Seven." This will always include one team that is undefeated in the playoffs, the team that lost to that team in the last game of the winners' bracket, and five other one-loss teams. At the HSNCT, the Sunday evening dinner break occurs after this point, and the "Super Seven" teams comprise the teams remaining in contention when the tournament resumes.
