Named the fourth-place team in the official NAC standings. NAC roster was Naveen Khan, Kha Lai, Matt Boese, Jeffrey Goodman, Solomon Chao. Coached by Linda Carpenter.
Along with Los Alamitos, was considered one of the two best teams in California in 2002; however, as Edison did not attend the NAQT State Championship that year, Los Alamitos pulled out of a USC tournament before the teams could play each other, and the teams attended different nationals, the superiority of one over the other was never conclusively established.
