The 2022-23 Elgin Academy Season is the 6th season of the school having an active quiz bowl program. Following the successful 2021-22 season, the Elgin Academy quiz bowl team had a rebuilding season in 2022-23.
In the IHSSBCA kickoff tournament, Elgin Academy qualified two teams into the Small School Nationals for the first time in school history. The school's varsity team finished the regular season with a record of 10-9, receiving 8th seed in its own IHSA sectional.
