Britney hails from the small town of Napanee, Ontario and began playing [[Reach for the Top]] in Grade 10, as well as [[Whiz Quiz]]. She joined the [[Ottawa | UOttawa trivia club]] in her first year of university and was elected president two years later. She was re-elected President for the 2010-2011 year, by a margin of one vote over teammate [[Brendan McKendy]]. She has completed her BA in  Français langue seconde with a minor in études françaises and hopes to become a french high school teacher. Since April 2010 she has been dating Waterloo quizbowl player [[Jamie Cooper]] who is an Ottawa native and [[Lisgar]] alumni. As of July 15th 2011 she holds the position of secretary in the [[Ontario Quizbowl Association]].

During the 2021-2022 season, she was part of the question writing team for Reach for the Top, as well as the Canadian production of PopWhiz. (https://www.popwhizgameshow.com/) During the 2021-2022 academic year she coached the Grade 7/8 Intermediate Reach for the Top team at [[St. Josephine's Virtual Academy]], who went on to place 4th at the first ever Reach for the Top Junior Nationals. In her second season as Coach in 2022-2023, St. Mark Catholic High School were the Junior National Finalists.

Britney hails from the small town of Napanee, Ontario and began playing Reach for the Top in Grade 10, as well as Whiz Quiz. She joined the UOttawa trivia club in her first year of university and was elected president two years later. She was re-elected President for the 2010-2011 year, by a margin of one vote over teammate Brendan McKendy.

In May 2010, 2011, 2014 and 2015 she was a moderator at Reach for the Top Nationals held in Toronto.
