Chris Romero was a quizbowl player for the Texas A&M, where he has played from 2000 to 2007. Chris played on the 2006 ACF Nationals Champion with Candace Benefiel, Susan Mitchell and Trey Morris. Currently Chris is high school mathematics teacher and quiz bowl coach at Seven Lakes High School in Katy, Texas. Since 1998 Chris has directed more than 70 High school tournaments as the head of the TQBA, the Texas Quiz Bowl Alliance. Chris helped edit 2006 ACF Regionals and 2006 Chicago Open sets.

Chris is the namesake of the Romero Method. Chris helped bring the 2002 HSNCT and 2004 HSNCT to Texas.
