The Columbia-Area After School Tournament is a high school tournament hosted by Missouri. Unsurprisingly, it was held after a day of school.

The first tournament was held on January 19, 2011 and consisted only of teams from Columbia because Boonville and Glasgow were forced to drop due to inclement weather as heavy snows blanketed the area. With six teams participating (Rock Bridge A-D, Hickman, and Columbia Independent School), the schedule was simply a round-robin. Three staffers from Missouri, Charles Dees, Alex Dzurick, and Chris Zhang traveled to Rock Bridge to moderate the event.
