Derek So is a PhD Student at McGill in the Human Genetics department. In high school, he played Reach for the Top for Sir Winston Churchill in Vancouver, and was on the team that played at the 2008 and 2009 Reach for the Top National tournaments. Recently, he led a McGill team to 3rd place at the 2014 Division 2 ICT. He is known for his mastery of literature, trash, and sarcasm, consistently winning individual scoring prizes at tournaments in Ontario.
