A former player at Fort Zumwalt West and sophomore at Truman State, Dylan is widely recognized for his knowledge of literature and visual arts.

High School

Dylan placed second in the inaugural MOQBA Singles Championship, losing only to Grant Gates. Before the 2010-2011 season, Fort Zumwalt West was widely recognized to be perhaps the most promising team. However, Fort Zumwalt West Coach Jeremy Gibbs resigned after the 2009-2010 season, as Becraft had been pushing for the team to attend more good quizbowl tournaments. As a result, Dylan was unable to find a new coach, and one of the most talented players in the state was unable to play for his junior and senior years.

College

2012-2013

Dylan has been playing on Truman's A team, and was the top scorer at Truman's Mirror of 2012 Collegiate Novice. He also placed 4th individually at Penn-ance. Dylan was also the leading scorer of the Truman C team at the Region 11 SCT in Division II, nearly leading the team to qualify for ICT.
