Erik Nelson is the president and chief editor of Play Quiz Bowl, the makers of the annual ACRONYM pop culture tournament. As an editor, he has produced every ACRONYM released since 2014, and has done the same for every Super ACRONYM, TOEJAM, and several other sets.
As a competitor, Erik is an accomplished pop culture player in both the quiz bowl and trivia circuits, having posted strong finishes at Chicago Open Trash and the Pop Solos event in the Online Quiz League. He played high school quiz bowl at Roseville and, albeit very briefly, at the University of Minnesota.
