Each year's Saturday overlapped the Official Atlanta Caribbean Carnival, causing a 2013 attempt to adjust the tournament's lunch break to minimize the parade's distracting impact on the tournament. Noise from the parade also permeated in several rooms, as seen in this match. The 2014 MSNCT and CCCT were held in Atlanta but at Hilton Atlanta, across the street from Hyatt Regency.
