One of the most notable (albeit non-academic) scenes from his career occurred after the 2008 [[VHSL]] State Championship. The team traveled to Captain George's Seafood Restaurant in Williamsburg, Virginia, and Musick proceeded to feast on crab legs and other assorted seafood for more than three hours, stating "I wanted to get my money's worth [from the AYCE buffet]".

A fondly remembered moment among team members is an incident in which Musick negged on a question on hydrophobia and instead gave the answer "homophobia".
 
Another related incident occurred during an introduction during the '08-'09 season in which teammate [[Charlie Perkins]] unknowingly referred to himself as "Charlie Musick". An outburst of laughter from moderators and bystanders ensued.
 
 
 
Musick came out for [[Princeton]]'s quizbowl team in the second semester of Freshman year and currently plays for the D-II team.
