There are three notable Lyons who have competed in quizbowl.

Ezra Lyon is a Carleton College alum who won the 2007 NCT with Minnesota.
Gabriel Lyon is Ezra's older brother, a current grad student at Wisconsin.
Avram Lyon is a former Grinnell player.
