"m stock m" is a humorous[citation needed] phrase that is often repeated in the high-school quizbowl Discord community. The phrase is ostensibly used to point out the presence of stock clue, though it can also serve as a general expression of affirmation.
The phrase originates from Stefan Calin, who often uses it ironically to show off his knowledge of very difficult science clues. It has since propagated throughout a variety of quizbowl-related Discord servers.
