North Carolina is a state in the Southeastern United States. It has numerous quiz bowl teams at the high school, college, and middle college levels. There are both pyramidal and non-pyramidal tournaments in North Carolina.

Tournaments

There are many tournaments hosted yearly in North Carolina.

Non-pyramidal

The WRAL Brain Game competition in the North Carolina Triangle area is on TV and does not adhere to the standards of pyramidal quiz bowl.

A High-IQ Bowl competition formerly existed in the Greensboro area.
