Salem High School is a public high school located in Salem, Virginia. The academic team at the school was founded in the late 1990s by Fred Campbell who would serve as the coach of the team until 2009 when he assumed the position of Commissioner of Scholastic Bowl for the Virginia High School League.

2018 marked the beginning of a new era for Salem High School when the team put up a positive record in the VHSL for the first time in nearly a decade.
