Stuyvesant High School is a public magnet school in New York City.
History
The Stuyvesant High School Quiz Bowl team was founded in the spring of 2005 by a pair of sophomores named Victor Wong and Connie Tao. Stuyvesant tied for 21st at the 2007 HSNCT. At the 2007 NSC Stuyvesant defeated eventual champions Maggie Walker in a playoff game, resulting in a three-way tie in one of the brackets and Stuyvensant finishing 5th overall in the tournament. The official team was discontinued in 2009.
Notable alumni of Stuyvesant include Doug Yetman.
