What's the bit about "Spelling [sic] tossups are heard"? Do they use additional questions besides the NAQT questions? NAQT does not write spelling tossups. Jonah (talk) 18:49, 25 March 2020 (CDT)
- They sure did when I was playing. I don't think I heard any the last few times I watched West play. That being said, I figure you'd know better and I defer to you. --Joe
- I don't know whether they add questions or what, but if there are spelling questions they're not by NAQT. NAQT started supplying Regional Quiz Bowl with lightning rounds in 2014–2015 and with other (TV-style) questions in 2015–2016, which overlaps your playing time if I'm not mistaken.
